Room for Vegetables

I read that this qualifies as companion planting.

This is a part of the vegetable patch….. believe it or not….. if you look closely you can see a few lettuce transplants towards the lower left. In my defense it’s a new part and maybe it’s best to grow flowers until I have a chance to build up the soil.

    Are those fruit trees growing in the raised beds in the upper left portion of the picture? Or is my perspective off? 🙂

      No fruit trees yet, I think you might be seeing the tree-like amaranth plants that were in that bed. I’m having trouble commiting a spot to fruit trees, I’ve been eyeing them again this spring but the wallet remains closed.
